Parenting is a flying-by-the-seat-of-your-pants job that is as rewarding as it is, at times, nerve-wracking. There is no manual. There is no school or university to attend. There is no dress-rehearsal–though children who come after a firstborn may benefit from ‘lessons learned’. However, each child is different. Regardless, parents want to provide the love and support that will allow a child to develop his/her best self—to feel rooted, to become independent, to discover and nurture talents and passions.
